The Mundell Funeral Home offers a full range of services from immediate cremation or burial to memorial services and traditional funeral services involving visitation, funeral, reception services and facilities.

Celebrating A Life

Music

Traditional hymns? Classical Music? Rock n Roll? Soloist? Pianist? Bagpiper? CDs? We are happy to accommodate all requests. As well, our chapel is equipped with a beautiful electronic baby grand piano. You are welcome to supply your own music and/or musician or we will arrange all of the details for you.

Eulogies

Having a friend, family member or clergy prepare and present a personal tribute can add significant meaning to a service. 

Memory Table

A memory table can be used to display meaningful items such as golf clubs, a musical instrument, knitting needles, awards or certificates, motorcycle jacket, fishing pole... A personalized display can help stir positive memories of the life lived and promote the sharing of stories.

Picture Boards

Families are welcome to make picture collages to display within the funeral home during the visitation, service, and reception. At no charge, we provide the framed board(s) as well as proper easels for display.

DVD Video Tribute

We offer all of our families the option of having a DVD made which may be shown on our specialty equipment during visitation and/or service. Copies are given to the family and provide an invaluable keepsake.

On-Line Death Notices

As a free service to the families we serve, death notices, including a photo if desired, are posted on our website.

On-Line Messages of Condolence

Visitors to our website are able to send a message to the family at no cost. These messages are printed at the funeral home and given to the family so they know your thoughts are with them, even if you can not be.

Environmental Considerations

In addition to such efforts as the use of energy saving light bulbs, biodegradable cleaning products and a dedicated recycling program, we offer green merchandise options. These alternative choices are certified and approved by the Green Burial Council (www.greenburialcouncil.org) and include a selection of urns, caskets, and stationery.

Urn Options

We offer a large selection, including single urns, companion urns, keepsake urns, biodegradable urns, and urns designed for water or ground scattering.


Personalization through engraving names, dates as well as various images onto an urn can add to the personalization of the visitation and/or service.

Stationery Options

We provide a full line of stationery items including register books, keepsake memory cards, prayer cards, orders of service and thank you cards. The stationery can be personalized with text including various languages as well as photos or images that may be meaningful.
