Richard Elliott James, passed away in his sleep of natural causes at a local hospital with Laurel by his side on December 21, 2022, at the age of 76.

Richard Elliott James, passed away in his sleep of natural causes at a local hospital with Laurel by his side on December 21, 2022, at the age of 76.

He lived in Dakota Dunes, SD with his fiancée, Laurel McFarlin, for the last six years. He was a loving, caring man who would do anything for anyone that needed help. Richard was an Army Veteran who was proud to have served his country.

He was preceded in death by both his parents, and his wife, Mary James. He is survived by his two daughters, Tonya and Jessica, plus many grand and great- grandchildren who live in Honolulu.
