Richard Leroy Burnight

Richard Leroy Burnight age 91 of Sioux City, Iowa passed away peacefully September 23rd, 2025. Richard was born March 11th, 1934.  Following his wishes, cremation has taken place.

Richard was the proud owner of Modern Glass Co. in Sioux City, Iowa. He was Preceded in death by his parents, Edward Patrick Burnight and Rose Ann Neill Burnight.

 His siblings, Pvt Leslie L Burnight, Edward L Burnight, Patrick K Burnight, Rose Mary Burnight Lutter and Joseph R. "Ron" Burnight. Son, Timothy Virgil Paul Girard. 

Survived by his former wife, Delores Jean Johnson McDougall who has since passed and their two sons, Richard A Burnight and Ronald E Burnight. Daughter, Robyn Ann Girard Jones. 

Remembrance to be held Saturday, October 11th from 3:30 until 6 p.m. at the Glass Palace in N. Sioux City, Iowa.
