Patricia A. Shanks-White

Sioux City, IA – Patricia A. Shanks, 73, passed away Friday, August 2, 2024, at a local nursing home.

A funeral service will be 11:30 am Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Christy-Smith Funeral Homes, Morningside Chapel, 1801 Morningside Ave., with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Patricia A. White, the daughter of Irving W. and Mary Anna (Reiss) White was born April 6, 1951, in Long Branch, NJ. 

On December 26, 1971, Patricia was united in marriage with Henry Donald Shanks in Brockton, MA. She was a homemaker. Henry died in 1999.

Patricia was a member of Mater-Dei Parish-Immaculate Conception Church. She loved taking care of her family and helping people. Patricia also enjoyed puzzles and animals.

Patricia is survived by her brother, James White of Sioux City. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and her daughter, Rosetta.
