Michael Lee Kamradt, 73, of Sioux City, Iowa died on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Mercy One Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday at Christy-Smith Funeral Homes, Morningside Chapel located at 1801 Morningside Ave. Sioux City, Iowa 51106 with the Neil Peck, CLS officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City, IA.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Christy-Smith Funeral Homes, Morningside Chapel, 1801 Morningside Ave., Sioux City, Iowa.

Michael was born on November 10, 1951, in Sioux City, Iowa, to Lloyd and Mary Lou (Peck) Kamradt. He was raised in Sioux City and attended Sioux City Public Schools graduating from Riverside High School. Michael married Carole Ann Robeson on May 29, 1971. The couple had two boys, Jason and Jeff. He worked alongside his father as a contractor for the Sioux City sanitation department for a couple of years before going to work at Chesterman Bottling Company for thirty plus years, retiring in 2015.

He enjoyed playing softball and bowling in his younger years and coaching youth sports for his two boys. He loved to watch baseball, and going to the casino to play the slots.

Surviving are sons, Jason (Tracy) Kamradt and Jeff (Whitney) Kamradt; grandchildren, Evan (Jordan) DeKok, Zackery (Caitlin) Denney, Brody Denney, Coy Denney, Kendra Kamradt, Sydney Kamradt, Kal Kamradt and Thea Kamradt; five great-grandchildren, Casen, Teagan, Hayden, Spurgeon, and Jethro; along with several nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carole Anne; an infant sister; and his brother, Ron "Butch" Kamradt.
