Lula L. Watkins

Lula L. Watkins, 90, formerly of Sioux City passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024, at a hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.

Lula L. Keifer, the daughter of Walter and Minnie (Shaw) Watkins was born June 15, 1933, in Sioux City, IA. She received her education in Sioux City. 

On January 7, 1950, Lula was united in marriage with Robert Watkins.  She was a homemaker and raised her family. Lula also helped on the family acreage.  

Lula enjoyed crocheting and watching sports with her family.   Robert died November 12, 2020.
 
Lula is survived by her daughter, Joetta (Dewey) Austin of Elk Point, SD, and their children, Tina, Trisha, Todd; her son, Richard (Jackie) Watkins of Salem, SD, and their children, Travis, Bryce, Jessi; her daughter, Roberta (Larry) Minter of Jefferson, SD, and their children, Shara, Laura, Marcus; her son, Thomas Watkins of Sioux Falls, SD, and his children, Jennifer, Lyndsay, Meghan, Jeff; along with many great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and seven siblings.
