Lori Ann Morehead Conley

Lori A. Morehead (Conley), 63, died Friday, January 9, 2026, at her residence in Sioux City, IA.

A memorial service will be 6:30 pm Friday, January 16, 2026, at Christy-Smith Funeral Homes, Morningside Chapel, 1801 Morningside Avenue.

Lori Ann Weigand, the daughter of Roger and Madonna (Anderson) Weigand was born September 19, 1962, in Sioux City. She graduated from Heelan High School in 1981 and went on the earn a degree from WITTC. She had many jobs throughout the years but sales associate at Randall’s, in home daycare and marketing for State Farm were the most meaningful. She retired in 2023.

Lori was united in marriage with Terry Morehead in Sioux City for several years and had two children. Later she married Brian Conley and had another son.

Lori enjoyed creative painting, collecting pie birds, and having special time with her fur babies. She loved spending family time, especially Sundays throughout generations with her children and grandchildren. Having coffee and dinners with friends was always special to her. Lori would make a yearly trip to the Black Hills and loved camping.

Lori is survived by her children, Melissa (Bill) Dahna, Nathan Morehead, and Nicholas (Haley) Conley, all of Sioux City; grandchildren, Kaydence, Colton, and Cade; a brother, Michael Weigand; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and many aunts and uncles.
