Loretta M. Adams (Neely)

Loretta M. Adams (Neely) of Lewiston, Idaho peacefully passed away on September 18, 2026, in Lewiston, Idaho. She was surrounded by love as we said goodbye to a truly remarkable woman, her life and ministry touched countless hearts and lives.

Loretta devoted 45 years to the ministry, serving as an evangelist and traveled to at least 38 states including Trinidad/Tobago. Her calling led her to share the Gospel with unwavering faith, compassion and strength. Loretta also served as co-pastor at Christian Life Fellowship alongside her husband Pastor Walter J. Neely Sr. in Sioux City, Iowa. She also served as co-director of the Siouxland Christian College in South Sioux City, Nebraska, where her leadership and dedication helped shape the lives of many students and families.

Loretta will always be remembered for deep love for her family and her steadfast devotion to the Lord.

She is survived by her son, Walter (Wally) and wife Barbara Neely of Lewiston, Idaho; her grandchildren, Wendy Gallegos (Neely) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Penny Neely of Lewiston Idaho, David Neely Lewiston, Idaho, and Shauna Latimer (Neely) of Lewiston, Idaho; her sister, Lucille (Kay) Dennis of Oceanside, California; her brother, Larry McKenna of Red Bluff, California; her stepdaughter, Jill Rietze of Temple City, California; stepson, Steve and wife Barb Adams of Hayden Lake, Washington; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces especially and nephews.

Loretta was preceded in death with husband, Edwin (Ed) Adams (2023); her husband, Water J. Neely Sr. (2003); her mother, Opal (Stukas) McKenna (2006); her father, Robert Stukas (1945); her sisters, Sandra (McKenna) Powers, and Ellie (Stukas) Thompson; and her brothers, Gene Stukas, and Harold Stukas.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 10:30 AM at Christy-Smith Funeral Homes, Morningside Chapel (1801 Morningside Ave) with Visitation taking place one hour prior. Her final resting place will be Memorial Park Cemetery.
