Kevin J. Wigton, 72, previously of Sioux City, passed away on June 21, 2025, at a local hospital in Florida.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 am on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Holy Cross Parish St Michael Catholic Church (2223 Indian Hills Dr) with a visitation taking place one hour prior. Final resting place will be Calvary Cemetery.

Kevin was born on July 2, 1952, to Richard W. and Mary Ellen (McNally) Wigton in Sioux City, Iowa. He graduated from Bishop Heelan High School in 1970 and earned his degree from Briar Cliff University in 1974. After graduating from college, Kevin held managements positions at Ozark, TWA, and American West Airlines. For the past 22 years, Kevin has worked for the Department of Homeland Security (FAA and TSA). He completed his career as an Assistant Federal Security Director.

Kevin married Pamela Jean Driver in Roseville, Minnesota. After living in Omaha, Nebraska, for the past 34 years, the couple retired to Davenport, Florida. Kevin loved spending time with his family and traveling. The highlight of his year was putting on his annual 4th of July fireworks display.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Pamela Jean Wigton; daughter, Megan; grandson, Christian; siblings, Tim (Kaye) Wigton, Maggie Asplef, Kate (Dean) Duzik, Jean (Roger) Dufresne, Jim (Stef) Wigton, and John Wigton.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Mary Ellen.
