Jeffery Kane Williams, 56, of Sioux City, IA, passed away on June 28th, 2023. Jeff was the son of Kay Proffitt and Clarence Williams. He grew up in Burrton, Kansas. In 1985 he graduated from Burrton High School. In 2005, he met “the love of his life”, Tameka. Jeff worked his dream job at the CIty of Sioux City as an Operator. Jeffery also had four children whom he loved very much; Christen, Ashley, Zachary, and Samantha. He also had a remarkable bond with his siblings Angie, and Jason.
He was known for his kind and loving nature to everyone that he met. Especially having a soft spot for elderly women, babies, and pets. Jeff was an avid fisherman, hunter, and comedian always making the people around him smile and laugh even when he didn’t feel well. He consistently put others before himself. He cared deeply for his family; always making them the priority. Jeff looked forward to holidays with his family members, especially if it involved fishing.
Jeff had given his life to Christ and through that, we live in certainty that he is in paradise. Growing up, his grandmother Margaret taught him about the gospel, and he never truly let it go. He believed in the Father’s love and now rests easy with him.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, four children; siblings, parents; grandchildren Olivia, Isabel, Layla, Gabriel (Ashley), Sofia, Eva, Adrian (Christen); in-laws David Rider, Yvonne Shanks, Jessica Rider, Davey & Marissa Rider and a host of nieces, nephew, and great-nephews. He is preceded in death by all his grandparents and father-in-law.
