Harvey Harold Viken

Harvey Harold Viken, 87, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at a local hospital in Sioux City, Iowa.

Harvey was born on October 19, 1938, to John and Marion (Gunderson) Viken in Sioux City, Iowa. He graduated from Central High School. On January 14, 1961, Harvey married Donna Jeanne Jepsen. He was a member of the First Assembly of God.

Harvey was a lifelong resident of Sioux City. He worked as a photo engraver at the Sioux City Journal; then a route salesman for Wonder Bread, and finally as a route salesman for Zee Medical.

Harvey is survived by his wife, Donna Jeanne Viken; sons, Kerry (Lorie) Viken of Fort Dodge, IA, Kevin (Jackie) Viken of Norton Shores, Michigan, and Keith Viken of Shawnee Mission, Kansas; sister, Betty Gries; and 4 grandchildren, Trevor, Evan, Garett (Bugsy), and Brianne (Matt) Anderson, 2 great-grandchildren, Corbin and MacKenzie.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Marion Viken; sister, Gertrude and Dale Lynn; brother, John and Darlene Viken; and brother-in-law, Al Gries.
