Evelyn Sitzmann (McCammond)

Evelyn C. Sitzmann, 93, of Olathe, Kan., formerly of Sioux City, died Tuesday, July 24, 2007, in Kansas City, Mo.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Neptune, Iowa, with the Rev. Richard Sitzmann officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Neptune. Visitation will be 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Christy-Smith Larkin Chapel in Sioux City.
The former Evelyn McCammond was born Feb. 25, 1914, in Lewis, Kan. She was raised in Le Mars, Iowa. She lived in Sioux City and most recently in Olathe, Kan.
She was a member of the Catholic church.
She is survived by two sons and their wives, Ron and Kay Sitzmann of Lenexa, Kan., and Val and Vida Sitzmann of Sandy, Utah; two daughters, Judy Harrington of Estes Park, Colo., and JoAnn and her husband, Scott Cantwell of Omaha; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins; and many special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Valentine Sitzmann; three brothers; and three sisters.
Pallbearers will be Greg Sitzmann, Scott Sitzmann, Marty Sitzmann, Caleb Sitzmann, Jim Harrington and Dan Shea.
