Clyde Lowell Millie, Jr., 79 of Sioux City, Iowa died on Friday, October 24, 2025, in Sioux City, Iowa.

A funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Grace United Methodist Church located at 1735 Morningside Ave Sioux City, Iowa with the Rev. John Christianson officiating. Interment will be in Silver Ridge, Ponca, NE.

Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel, 1801 Morningside Ave., Sioux City, Iowa.

Clyde was born on January 16, 1946, near Newcastle, Nebraska, to Clyde Sr. and Lois (Cook) Millie on the family farm. He graduated from Newcastle High School in 1964. He earned his associates degree from Nebraska Vocational Technical College in Milford, NE. He married Elaine Klanderud on December 1, 1967, in Obert, NE. The couple moved to Sioux City, and he went to work for International Harvester, currently he was employed with Kimball Midwest as a salesperson. He was a longtime member of Grace Methodist Church.

Surviving is his wife Elaine, daughter, Stefani (John) Grant, granddaughter Alexandra Grant, nephews Tyler and Toby Lund, sister in-law Karen Wosika, brother in-law Mark (Val) Klanderud, brother in-law Tom Rastede, niece Annette Robinson.

Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, sister Grayce Lund and her husband Loren, brother in-law Frank Wosika, and a sister in-law Marilyn Rastede.
