SIOUX CITY -- Cinthia "Cindy" Gries, 50, of Sioux City died Monday, April 19, 2010, at a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Berkemier Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home, with Doug Stoddard officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to www.christysmith.com .
Cindy was born Aug. 13, 1959, in Omaha, Neb. She was self-employed as a house cleaner, cleaning private homes. She lived in the Sioux City area for 30 years.
Cindy is survived by her common-law wife, Parthena Kinkead of Sioux City; stepson, Branden Kinkead; five children; 14 grandchildren; sisters, Vickie Stoddard of Sioux City, Tammy Gries and Jeannie Gries of Wichita, Kan.; brothers, Junior Gries and Curtis Gries, both of Sioux City; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Selena; and a son, Jose.
Memorials may be directed to the family in her name.
