But Thi Nguyen, 101, passed away at her residence on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 1:25 p.m.

Life and Faith

She was born on August 24, 1924, in Hai Duong Nam Sach, Vietnam, to Dong Thi Rau and Nguyen Van Thiep. In 1992, she came to the United States, where she later became a U.S. citizen on September 12, 2011. She was a devoted member of the Buddhist Temple.

Preceded in Death

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nguyen Van Mo, on March 31, 2001.

First visitation will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Christy-Smith Funeral Home, Larkin Chapel. Second visitation will be held on Monday, August 24, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Christy-Smith Funeral Home, Larkin Chapel. Third visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM with Funeral Service starting at 9:00 AM. Burial will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery following the funeral service.
