Aiden J. Eilers

Aiden J. Eilers, 5, of Hinton, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024, at a local hospital in Sioux City, Iowa. Per his family's wishes, a private family service has taken place. 

Aiden was born on January 2, 2019, in Sioux City, Iowa, to Austin Eilers and Gretchen Miller. Aiden graduated from preschool and was enrolled in T-K (Transitional Kindergarten) at Hinton Schools. He enjoyed school bike rides, cuddling with his mom, wrestling with his dad, singing and music. He loved swimming with his cousins, going on walks with his dogs, and being outside with nature. Aiden will be remembered for his big laughs and always having the brightest smile. 

Those left to remember Aiden are his parents, Austin and Gretchen of Hinton, Iowa; his grandparents, Stan and Cora Eilers of Hinton, Iowa, Kris and Junior Mrla of Sioux City, Iowa, and Dwaine Jr and Shirley Miller of Hinton, Iowa; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

The family would like to give a special thanks to Liz Hagestrom at Hinton Community School District for the special care she gave Aiden.
