Janice L. “Jan” Craig, 64, died Thursday, June 4, 2020, at MercyOne Medical Center in Sioux City, IA.
A memorial service will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, June 13, 2020, at Christy-Smith Funeral Homes, Larkin Chapel, 2320 Outer Drive North, with visitation one hour prior.
Janice Lynn “Jan” Craig, the daughter of William E. and Mary Roberta (Lester) Craig was born May 22, 1956, in Sioux City, IA. She graduated from West High School and went on to attend one year of college.
Jan was married twice, and had seven children from her marriages. She was employed as a CNA/Caregiver and also in food service.
Jan is survived by her mother, Mary Roberta (Lester) Craig of Sioux City; her children, Rhiannon (Kenny) Amos of Sutherland, IA, Miranda (Rick) Schroeder of Merrill, IA, William (Sarah) Berger of Hartley, IA, Tiffany (Shawn) Albright of Worthington, MN, Elizabeth (Charlie) Mescher of Spencer, IA, Joe Ripka of Sheldon, IA, and Everett (Stacey) Engelkes of Canby, MN; 17 grandchildren, Jesse, Dylan, Jade, Tabitha, Kayla, Logan, Mackenzie, Christian, Lyric, Madilynn, Matilda Jane, Trey, Dylan Lee, Reece, Leighton, Jaxon, and Carter; one great-grandchild, Landynn; brothers, Doug (Theresa) and Rob (Lori) of Portland, OR; a sister, Karen Craig of Sioux City; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, William Craig; sisters, Kathy Williams and Kim Craig; brothers, Danny Craig and Jeff Craig; a niece, Missy; a nephew, Danny; and many friends.
The family has requested that memorials be directed to the Craig Family.
