Elaine E. Anderson

Elaine E. Anderson, 89, of Sioux City, IA passed peacefully at Sunrise Retirement Home, Sunday, September 16, 2018.
A visitation will be held 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, September 20, 2018, at Christy-Smith Funeral Homes, Morningside. A graveside service will be held at 10 am, Friday, September 21, 2018, at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Born in Pierson, IA to Emmett (Brownie) and Elsie Walters, she graduated from Central High School in Jan. of 1947 and married Ronald C. Anderson in Sept of 1947. Ron and Elaine have two adult children, Mollie Zimmerman of Lafayette, CO and Todd Anderson of Pikeville, NC.
Elaine worked for the Sioux City Journal in advertising and retired with 20 years of service in 1985.
Elaine is survived by her brother, James Walters of Otto, IA and her children.
