Cole James McClure

Cole James McClure, 21 of Sioux City, died unexpectedly on April 9, in Vermillion, South Dakota.

A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 14th at the Hilton Garden Inn Ball Room, located at 1132 Larsen Park Rd, Sioux City, IA with Chaplain Steve Peters of the 185th Iowa Air National Guard officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 13th from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with a time of sharing set to begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn Ball Room located at 1132 Larsen Park Rd, Sioux City, IA.

Cole was born January 1, 2001, in Sioux City, Iowa and graduated from North High School. Cole had an easy smile and big heart. He loved to make others laugh as much as he loved laughing. He was always a dapper dresser and was known for his trademark long curly hair. A lover of music, Cole played bass for the band Sweet Release. He loved hitting the town with his friends and supporting their favorite local musicians. They could be found up by the stage with their shirts off and living life to its fullest. He was a server at Crave and a favorite of regulars and loved by his coworkers.

Cole was survived by his mother and stepdad, Heather Fields and John Sigmund; his father and stepmother, Jeremy McClure and Lindsay Washburn; his sister and her boyfriend, Haley McClure and Briar Burns; his brothers, Micah Fields and CJ Sigmund; his nieces and nephews, Bradley Copeland, Evelyn Ramirez, and Cole Emery Burns; grandparents; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was proceeded in death by his great-grandparents; his step-grandpas, Paul Naab and Dan Washburn; and his dog, Hugo.
