Christy-Smith Family Resource Center and Gift Shop
In the continuing tradition of providing the finest funeral-related services in the Siouxland area, Christy-Smith Funeral Homes is pleased to present the Family Resource Center. Combining products and inspiration, the Family Resource Center allows the consumer a caring place to come when faced with the sensitive subject of death.
The stressful, and sometimes intimidating, responsibility of making funeral arrangements has been replaced with the opportunity to plan a celebration of your loved one's life in a comfortable, non-threatening environment.

In addition to offering the Family Resource Center to the community, we realized the need for a large area to be used by our families as a gathering place following the funeral ceremony. Thus, we have taken approximately one-third of this building and made it into a community room, complete with a small kitchen and tables and chairs.
The community room is available for families who wish to cater a luncheon for relatives and friends who have attended the services. Several area restaurants have a menu to select from, and will cater the food service to the room.
The community room is also available to the general public. Do you need a large room to host an event: open house, graduation, showers, meetings, etc.? This room is available for those functions at a nominal fee.
The Family Resource Center and Gift Shop is located at 1819 Morningside Avenue, Sioux City, Iowa (right next to Christy-Smith Funeral Home).
